Vieille Bourse (Old Stock Exchange)
Built in 1652, the Vieille Bourse in Lille is one of the city's most beautiful buildings. Consisting of 24 separate buildings and homes centred around a courtyard, the Vieille Bourse is a fine example of Flemish Renaissance. Each is gracefully individualized by its entrance and mouldings. Often the courtyard is opened to the public and a popular book fair is held.
